George Müller eli Yrjö Myller oli hyvin perillä pandemian vaikutuksista. 1830-luvun kolera kulki yli maailman, jossa hän eli. Strong faith for 2021

As we face an unknown future, and a pandemic that is causing chaos in many nations, we can be assured that Christ is with us and He holds the future in His hands. He cares for each one of us as we are the sheep of His pastures and He remains our Good Shepherd.

George Müller was very experienced about the results of a pandemic. In the 1830's, cholera overwhelmed the world in which George Müller lived. As George ministered to the sick, trusting in the Lord for his own safety, he witnessed the deaths of many people who left orphans to look after themselves. With no home to turn to, and no one at all to provide them with safety, food, and love, hundreds of children were left begging on the streets.Müller felt God was calling him to establish homes for these kids. He opened his first Orphanage in April 1836 which was the first of many orphanages he created, and the beginning of a legacy that lives on today. Müller depended and trusted Father God totally for every home, for every meal, every pair of shoes, and every bed and bedsheets which were provided by Christ, and which enriched their faith. He said, when facing anxiety, "The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety."

May our faith be strengthened too, as we cast ALL our anxieties upon Jesus, and continue walking with our Good Shepherd during this year, 2021.
