Jumalan tahto, The will of God

I keep a wooden tablet with me, in my home, with the words "The will of God will never leave you where the grace of God cannot keep you." These words have been a true help and comfort to me throughout my many travels, during difficulties and while working and living abroad in various countries.
Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:17 - "Therefore do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is."
1 John 2:17 says - "And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever"
Jesus taught us "Our Father's prayer" which He prayed in Matthew 6:10, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Do we need to do the will of God in all things? The Bible is quite clear about it. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:21 - "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven"
HOW do we do His will? 1 Thess. 5:18 states "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Romans 12:1 teaches us - "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Doing the will of God is not always easy, but it brings great rewards and blessings. Even Jesus, when He faced crucifixion in the Garden of Gethsemane, cried out; "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will." [Matthew 26:39]
THIS is the answer - to submit to the will of God, no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in. Yielding to our Heavenly Father, submitting to Him in ALL things, praying for Him to reveal Himself to us, will help us in finding His will and doing it and receiving what He desires for us. Hebrews 10:36 says, "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised."
Jumalan tahto
Minulla on puinen pöytä kotona, jossa on sanat:"Jumalan tahto ei koskaan jätä sinua sinne, missä ei Jumalan armo voi pitää sinusta huolta."Nämä sanat ovat olleet tosi apu ja lohdutus minulle monien matkojeni, vaikeuksieni aikana ja töissäni ja eläessäni eri maissa.
Paavali kirjoitti Ef. 5:17: "Älkää sen tähden olko mielettömät, vaan ymmärtäkää, mikä Herran tahto on."
1 Joh 2:17: "Ja maailma katoaa ja sen himo; mutta joka tekee Jumalan tahdon, se pysyy iankaikkisesti"
Jeesus opetti meitä "Isä meidän rukouksessa" Matt 6:10, "Tulkoon sinun valtakuntasi; tapahtukoon sinun tahtosi myös maan päällä niinkuin taivaassa."
Tarvitsemmeko tehdä Jumalan tahdon kaikissa asioissa? Raamattu on avian selvä tästä. Jeesus itse sanoi Matt 7:21: "Ei jokainen, joka sanoo minulle: 'Herra, Herra!', pääse taivasten valtakuntaan, vaan se, joka tekee minun taivaallisen Isäni tahdon."
Kuinka teeme Hänen tahtonsa? 1 Tess. 5:18: "Kiittäkää joka tilassa. Sillä se on Jumalan tahto teihin nähden Kristuksessa Jeesuksessa."
Room 12:2 opettaa meitä: "Älkääkä mukautuko tämän maailmanajan mukaan, vaan muuttukaa mielenne uudistuksen kautta, tutkiaksenne, mikä on Jumalan tahto, mikä hyvää ja otollista ja täydellistä."
Jumalan tahdon tekeminen ei ole helpppoa, mutta se tuo suuret palkat ja siunaukset. Jopa Jeesus, kun Hänen edessään oli ristiinnaulitsemiseminen, huusi Getsemanen puutarhassa:"Isäni, jos mahdollista on, niin menköön minulta pois tämä malja; ei kuitenkaan niinkuin minä tahdon, vaan niinkuin sinä. [Matt 26:39]
Tämä on vastaus - alistua Jumalan tahtoon riippumatta olosuhteista, joissa löydämme itsemme. Antautuminen taivaalliselle Isällemme, alistuminen Hänelle kaikessa, rukoileminen, että Hän paljastaisi itsensä meille, auttaa meitä löytämään Hänen tahtonsa ja tekemään sen ja vastaanottamaan sen, mitä Hän haluaa meistä. Heprealaiskirje 10:36 sanoo: "Sillä te tarvitsette kestäväisyyttä, tehdäksenne Jumalan tahdon ja saadaksenne sen, mikä luvattu on."
